Issue: Influence of the reduced local admittance (3 dpt) ReSTOR SN6AD1 on subjective and objective results.
METHODOLOGY: Three months after implantation of a ReSTOR SN6AD1 monocular (monocular) was performed in 22 eyes long (4 m), near (30 cm; 40 cm) and intermediate medium (60 cm), with and without correction .) And binocular (bin.). Further, the contrast ratio & nbsp; Under
photopic and mesopic conditions and the defocus profile. Photic phenomena, subjective satisfaction, and postoperative eyeglasses were standardized.
Results: The median of the uncorrected distance vision was mon. At 0.9 (LogMAR 0.05). At 1.0 (LogMAR 0). The & nbsp; Uncorrected near-vision
at 40 cm was mon. how am. At 0.8, (LogMAR 0.1). The uncorrected near-vision at 30 cm was both mon. (0.5 [LogMar 0.3]) and bin.
(0.63 LogMar 0.2) worse than 40 cm. In the intermediary area, however, mon. A visual acuity of 0.8 (LogMAR 0.1), bin. Of 1.0 (LogMAR 0). The contrast ratio was within the standard range. The patients were as satisfied with the intermediary as they were close
and far. Photographic phenomena were perceived by 7 patients (64%), only 2 (18%) were fiercely condemned.
Conclusion: The new addition of the ReSTOR SN6AD1 improves the Intermedia and the & nbsp; Satisfaction without the
long-range and near-vision and the contrast.
