European Registry of Quality Outcomes for Cataract & Refractive Surgery

Dear Colleagues,

The 25th congress of the DGII will take place in Frankfurt from 10 to 12 March, and this year will again focus on quality assurance.

The EUREQUO project has now been officially extended, so that participation is definitely possible until 2014. RegistryManagers will also help you to keep up with your needs. EUREQUO  Has registered around 250,000 interventions and established itself well last year. Datagraph-med users now have the opportunity to transfer their data directly from Datagraph to EUREQUO with the latest Datagraph-med version, thus avoiding duplicate data entry. Existing data sets can also be transmitted to EUREQUO, which allows a comprehensive collection and evaluation of the data.  The importance of quality assurance is increasing, as can be seen in the final report of the Joint Federal Committee on Cataract Surgery.

I would like to ask you again to participate in this important project, which allows you to compare your data across the whole of Germany and across Europe, thus providing the prerequisites for quality assurance. For more information, please visit www.eurequo.org.
